I highly recommend Prospero's to anyone who loves books. They are organized well, cover a wide variety of topics/genres, and there's a large selection of vintage and antique books. The atmosphere is unique with antiques covering the tops of overflowing bookshelves, giving it a sense of welcoming.
Very cool used book store
Not a very friendly or helpful staff. Very disappointed with my visit yesterday. The clerk was more interested in her phone than helping my out of town guest look for books. Will never come back! No greetings either and we were the only ones there!
Wide selection of vintage books, sets, maps, and a lot more. It was my favorite place in Old Town
