DONT GO!!! This is the worse hospital I have ever been to! The wait is horrible! They have 1 docor on shift at night on a weekend u will never get a turn to see the doctor. Someone will just come n draw blood sit u out in lobby n come call u again n take x-ray n put back in lobby till the find staff or room to assign u to without even seeing the doctor or knowing what testing they recommend. Wait time is terrible at the lobby and at the room in the back.. no one will walk in once to apologize n see if ur still alive.
The ER is horrible and took over three hours and we are still waiting to be seen by anyone. Would not recommend this hospital. If I could leave zero stars I would.
Mixed review... ER services were above average. One particular nurse named Isaiah was AWESOME! Front desk check-in staff called security on me because I demanded that I go in the back as they were processing my 79 year old Mom. I was aggressive, I never got out of my seat but I was clear that I was my Mom's health advocate and they better not be in the back poking on prodding without me being there... so then she comes back with an ER nurse and a security guard. I was like... REALLY... a security guard. I wasn't moved... again, I was articulately clear and they escorted me back to my mother's bed side.
Needed ER service after a fall. Professional, seen in a timely manner, and all of my medical needs were met. Friendly. Knowledgeable.
Billing staff are terrible. They sent me bills despite me having called several weeks ago and spoken to an agent who said she would place a hold on the account. It must have been ignored. For another account, they sent me a final notice, despite me having requested from the manager a detailed itemized bill of services provided. They can't provide one and refuse to answer e-mails - instead they just sent out a final notice. Not normal to be sent a bill without itemizing what the charges are for. Other services provide detailed bills. Novant just writes a one line with the amount for the entire bill.
