This place has a huge variety of used books at great prices. Not terrifically well organized, be prepared to browse. They have a book buying program, an extensive comic book selection, and some video games.
Their trade-in program is also quite good. Their pricing algorithms are based off of Amazon prices; while you won't make as much as selling yourself, I think it's well worth avoiding the hassle of listing/shipping.
Shopping here is a delightful experience for any book lover. I credit this store for helping my children develop what I hope becomes a lifetime love if reading. There is a huge selection of books available and good prices. It's a good thing this store is not in my neighborhood. If it was, I would be broke!
Forever the best. McKay's is well organized, resonantly priced, and (usually!) well stocked. Always a treat to hunt through the shelves for a good find.
Best place in NoVA for used books. It's nice to support a local business, especially one with such reasonable prices and wide selection. It might take you a while to find what you're looking for, but that adventure can be part of the allure and charm of a book store. Great for comic books and old video games, too. A nice departure from all of the chains in the area. Highly recommend.
If youve got books or media to trade in, the store credit is a fantastic value compared to cashing out, often as much as 3:1 over the cash. Friendly staff, clean shopping environment. Very easy to get lost in the stacks.
