Still clean and I always find the staff either friendly or at least professional. I also like that the bathrooms are always clean. Well I can only comment on the woman's bathroom. My only complaint would be the full half hour previews and commercials. These are getting worse but it seems to be the thing in most theaters. I always go at least 15 minutes ahead to make sure I get a seat, but then I have to sit and wait a total of 45 minutes. My husband didn't believe me till I timed it. It was exactly 30 minutes. I hate that the movie start may be listed at 5 but doesn't start till 530. But it's not just this theater.
This places is like a lost gem. It's never over packed the seats are first come first serve. The concession stand moves really fast. If you are ordering anything other then the popcorn, candy, soda, hotdog, nachos be prepared to waitttttttttttt. I don't know why people order fries and hamburgers at a movie, but whatever floats your boat.
Concession prices are ridiculous, but that's not any different from any other theater. They have a variety of food and candy options, so you aren't stuck with only a few choices. Lots of parking.
No it does not have the recliner chairs like most newer movie theaters.
I'm very disappointed with this theater. I traveled with my family from Michigan to Virginia to only be treated like my family wasn't allowed in this theater. My family wanted to see a movie that was R rated but because my daughter was 3days from being 7 we couldn't see the movie we wanted. I have never heard of this rule as my family goes to movies often together. The girl at the counter was very nasty and rude when explaining the situation. I would not suggest African Americans visit this theater not to mention it looks very old and out dated.
This is one of my favorite movie theaters.
It is clean and not very busy. Employees are freedom and wait times for concessions aren't long. There is a very small arcade with around 7 different games including pac-man. The theaters are clean, seats are pretty soft. Cost is pretty high for food and tickets. $5 for a drink, $20 for an IMAX ticket
