It's too bad that society has accepted and allowed those that break laws to maintain any rights especially the right to complain after admitting to being arrested of how they were treated. I guess if you first didn't commit a crime or break a law then you wouldn't have to worry about being mistreated which being mistreated is relative. If you had done nothing wrong and the police abused your rights, then yeah, you've got a case. If you think that you should keep your rights after breaking a law and prior to receiving the consequences, buy yourself a raft and paddle out 200 nautical miles off the East coast, there you can continue to do whatever you want, you loony!! Yesh, people like you are the problem. The Manassas Police department did nothing wrong. Your perception of what is right and wrong is skewed. Good luck.

Guys. I know it's tough out there. Manassas isn't a perfect little town, but there are good people who live here. You deserve better than 2 stars on Google. Keep up the good work, and be safe out there.

After I was convicted I tried to get the attorneys to obtain the video again, they chose not to respond to my communications. I communicated with CVS and they responded that they would not send the video. I then wrote to the Police Chief of Manassas, the Mayor of Manassas several times expecting that as community leaders they would want to get to the bottom of the issue - there was no, has been no response.

Bunch of jokes

The Manassas Police Department has shown respect and provided great service to those that obey the laws and those that want to live peacefully in a society.

My case had material that would have documented the event, without prejudice, the security video and this professional community chose to sweep it under the carpet. One can only wonder at how many citizens these officers have abused since 2005 and those people may not have had security cameras available. This is not a case of a few "bad apples" it is a case of avoidance and cover up by the community, such activity reflects on the institution, its leadership and role in this society.

Manassas Police Department has some abusive cops in it. In 2005 I was assaulted in the CVS Pharmacy at 9200 Centreville road after submitting to arrest. We were returning from the hospital where my girlfriend was addressing a reaction to medication when the event happened. I identified that the store had security cameras throughout to my attorney and his response was that the video would not matter and Manassas Police lie all the time.
